Technical assessment service
Technical and methodological examination of usability and accessible operation of digital systems.
Typical technical questions
- How should the context of use be delimited by user group, task, device and concrete system state?
- Which observable usability problems occur under defined tasks and examination conditions?
- Which accessibility findings can be detected automatically and which require manual professional assessment?
- How far can a finding be generalised beyond the examined sample, user group and product version?
Methodological approach
The examination begins with an explicit definition of users, tasks, context of use, system version and reference criteria. Observation, measurement, user statement and tool output are treated as different types of evidence. Finding, interpretation and assessment remain separate.
Examination scope
- Systematic usability and software-ergonomics examination.
- Documentation of tasks, user groups and context of use.
- Professional interpretation of automated accessibility checks.
- Manual keyboard, focus, semantics and interaction testing.
- Documentation of sample, system state and statement boundaries.
A technical or ergonomic examination is distinct from legal conformity assessment. A tool pass or a single user test is not an automatic overall approval.

Initial technical classification of an enquiry
Before accepting an assignment, the technical question, subject of examination, available records, potential conflicts of interest and the required scope are reviewed. An individual non-binding proposal can then be prepared.
